AXE Engineering started in Bellingham in January 2017 and opened an Arlington office in 2024. We’re licensed in Washington and we stamp civil engineering, stormwater drainage, land-use permitting, and drafting work across Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish Counties.

  1. 2017

    Bellingham, January 2017

    Cutting Through Project Barriers for Whatcom County builders from day one. Civil engineering and stormwater drainage from a Washington PE bench based in Bellingham.

  2. 2019

    Fixed-fee SFR drainage

    We launch the single-family fixed-fee drainage program — one flat price, every city revision included until approved.

  3. 2022

    Land use formalized

    Land-use and permitting becomes its own service line — SEPA, rezones, conditional use permits, shoreline work.

  4. 2024

    Snohomish bench added

    We merge in MAC Engineering and add Snohomish County local expertise in civil, stormwater drainage, and land-use permitting to the bench.

  5. 2025

    Arlington office opens

    The Snohomish office opens in downtown Arlington along the historic main street of N. Olympic Ave.

Erin manages civil engineering activities across project design, reports, permitting, and plan preparation. He has been a Project Manager and Civil Engineer/Designer for civil engineering projects in the Pacific Northwest since 2010, with deep expertise in permitting, land development, road and utility design, grading, and stormwater modeling.
